About Me (In Pictures)
I live near the Mississippi River in
St. Paul, Minnesota,
but I spend a lot of time in the
woods
and the pine barrens of
northwestern Wisconsin.
At my cabin, I like to look for birds
and the tracks they leave behind,
take care of an unruly garden
of native wildflowers and grasses,
and listen to my young granddaughters discuss a Wisconsin bug.
I share my writing, digging-in-the-dirt life
with Dave, daredevil snowshoer.
